And if I'm honest, I'm guilty of dolling out bad advice in the past. Well meant bad advice, but bad advice all the same. (Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing!) We grow, we learn, we realise our mistakes. :-) In the end, when it comes to our own manuscripts/books/babies, we have to go with our gut. My daughter is thriving, so hopefully will my writing.
Great post, Michelle.Amaleen Isonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13686047513429707212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075536000183638139.post-46994565136752971192012-08-20T09:07:42.787-07:002012-08-20T09:07:42.787-07:00omg I completely forgot someone said that to me!

What will your reader learn from reading your book?" While I try to consider all feedback, especially regarding queries, I just had to pass on that one.
Kathryn Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05270893925385208665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075536000183638139.post-40888418329710179792012-08-20T08:28:05.332-07:002012-08-20T08:28:05.332-07:00Now, if only I could figure out how to check my ma...Now, if only I could figure out how to check my manuscripts capillary refill...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15615796102754800879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075536000183638139.post-87535228709783723182012-08-20T08:04:06.355-07:002012-08-20T08:04:06.355-07:00Great post! In the past few years, I've grown tremendously as a writer and I think I've gotten better at determining what advice I should follow and what I should ignore. I hope the same rule applies when I start having children, whenever that may be! lolMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06940487957045564029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075536000183638139.post-29614286711167938082012-08-20T07:06:50.011-07:002012-08-20T07:06:50.011-07:00Great article.
